Infinity Care Group put's no set time frame for when a young person will be ready to live independently. We will support and encourage young people to work through their "Get Ready for Adult Life Pack" - designed as a guide to highlight things that they need to know, need to work on, and provide support in getting further information where needed. The key areas covered include:
BUDGETING
Money is a big factor for young adults, it is important that each individual is taught how to budget. How to deal with responsibilities and understand and knowing how to avoid debt.
LIFE SKILLS
Life skills will help build confidance and will provide you with the right tools for development. Helping you learn new skills for problem solving, how to make new friends, socialising and so much more.
ACCOMMODATION & WEEKLY SUPPORT
We will Provide and support accommodation for our 18+ Care leaving and will have daily/weekly support session, which we will support you through important forms, job applications, appointments, social activities and so much more
